Can i use webmail?

Difficulty Rating: 2

Yes, you can send and receive email on your NetSoc account using webmail. Simply visit http://webmail.netsoc.dit.ie/ to access your account, your username and password are the same as you would use for logging in via ssh or sftp.

The webmail client we use is Roundcube, which is much nicer than it's predecessor, SquirrelMail.

There is also a facility which allows you to have your DIT Student Mail downloaded onto NetSoc for you automatically, this means one less webmail to check and you also gain the benefits of using a much nicer webmail client. Check out this page to setup this service.
